Shuvee Etrata has officially said goodbye to one of the most significant roles of her young acting career after her character, Tonet Mendoza, met a tragic end in a recent episode of the hit GMA drama series The Master Cutter.

Following the emotional episode, the actress took to social media to share a heartfelt farewell message, expressing gratitude to everyone who became part of Tonet’s journey both on and off the screen.

Shuvee reflected on how much the role meant to her, describing it as a project that helped her grow personally and professionally.

“Thank you so much sa lahat ng sumubaybay at nagmahal sa journey ni Tonet. Napakalaking bagay po sa akin ng proyektong ‘to. Dito po ako natuto, nag-grow, at mas nakilala ko ang sarili ko bilang artista. Daghan kaayo kog nakat-unan, and I’ll carry all of it with me.”
The actress then thanked lead star Dingdong Dantes, who plays a central role in the series, for being a supportive colleague throughout the production.
“Kuya Dingdong Dantes, thank you for being our Master Cutter! Hindi mo lang kami tinahi-tahi sa show, pati off-cam… you really sewed us together. HAHAHAHA! 😂”
She also expressed her appreciation to veteran actor Ketchup Eusebio, whom she affectionately called her “Manong.”
