Veteran action star Jeric Raval has opened up about one of the most talked-about aspects of his personal life, explaining how he came to have 18 children with seven different women while expressing gratitude to the mothers who stood by him through the years.

During an interview on "Kay Susan Tayo! Vlogs" hosted by Susan Enriquez, Jeric candidly discussed the challenges that came with raising a large family. He described his life as anything but ordinary, saying it often felt like something straight out of a television drama.
Despite the unconventional circumstances, Jeric said he considers himself fortunate because the mothers of his children remained kind and understanding throughout their shared experiences.
“Mababait sa akin ‘yung mga magulang. Kung hindi mabait ‘yun, matagal na akong patay!”

According to the actor, their understanding helped him navigate situations that could have become much more complicated.
Jeric also revisited one of the busiest and most unforgettable chapters of his life involving his former partner, actress Monica Herrera, and his wife, Holiday Buensuceso. He revealed that both women were pregnant at nearly the same time, forcing him to divide his attention between them.
“Actually sabay sila. Buntis si Holiday, manganganak siya. Halos sabay nanganak ‘yun. Si Monica nanganak sa kapatid ng nanay ko sa US. Silang dalawa. Pagganu’n-ganu’n (pabalik-balik) ako."
He admitted that constantly traveling between different locations during that period was physically exhausting and emotionally overwhelming.
“Kung isasapelikula mo buhay ko, comedy."
Jeric went on to describe how he had to rush from one hospital to another whenever one of his partners was about to give birth.
“Lalo na sa ospital, nu’ng nanganganak ‘yung isa, tatakbo ako doon (sa isa pa niyang karelasyon). Ang gulo! Kasi Quezon City, ‘yung isa Pampanga, paganu’n-ganu’n (pabalik-balik) ako."
The actor added that the situation became even more expensive whenever one of the births took place abroad.
“Kaya kapag ‘yung isa manganganak sa Amerika…okay. Magastos nga lang.”
Although Jeric acknowledged that his journey as a father has been far from simple, he looked back on those experiences with honesty and humor, while emphasizing his appreciation for the women who helped raise their children despite the complexities of their family situation.
