During her guest appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Monday, July 20, Jelai was asked about the kind of man she would want to date if she decides to enter a new relationship.
Jelai said that the most important quality for her is someone who has a strong faith in God. She explained that a God-fearing person is more likely to know the difference between right and wrong and avoid hurting others.
"Maka-Diyos. 'Yung naniniwala siya sa Diyos. Kasi, from doon pa lang, takot na siyang gumawa ng masama. Alam niya na 'yung tama, alam na niya 'yung utos."

The conversation later shifted to the physical qualities she finds attractive. Jelai responded with a laugh as she shared her ideal traits, adding that since she was already making a wish, she might as well include everything she wanted.
"Pogi, Tito Boy, siyempre, gwapo. Matangkad, gwapo, mayaman, mabait. Lahat na."
Boy jokingly remarked that there was nothing wrong with wishing for all of those qualities. "Lahat na. Tutal wish naman ‘yun, ‘di ba?" he said.
Jelai then emphasized that beyond appearance and financial stability, what matters most to her is a man who knows how to treat women with respect and values his family.
"May respeto sa babae, mahal ang magulang, mahal ang pamilya."
Her candid answers offered a glimpse into how her perspective on relationships has evolved, with faith, respect, and strong family values now ranking among the qualities she considers most important in a future partner.

Jelai and Jon exchanged vows in 2018 after starting their relationship in 2015.
