Actress Kathryn Bernardo has officially joined the ranks of Filipino icons immortalized by Madame Tussauds after the world-famous wax museum unveiled her highly anticipated wax figure during a special event in Makati City.

The lifelike figure was formally introduced at the Glorietta Palm Drive Activity Center in Makati City on Thursday, July 9, marking the culmination of a major international collaboration between Kathryn and Madame Tussauds.

Kathryn's wax figure was modeled after the stunning look she wore when she received the Outstanding Asian Star Award at the Seoul International Drama Awards in South Korea in 2023. It faithfully recreates the elegant ensemble and hairstyle she wore during the prestigious ceremony, commemorating one of the biggest milestones in her career.

The unveiling also marked the culmination of a project that was first announced by Madame Tussauds in October 2025. At the time, the international museum revealed that Kathryn had been chosen as the next high-profile Filipino celebrity to be immortalized in its world-renowned collection, recognizing her remarkable achievements and influence in the entertainment industry.

With the addition of her wax figure, Kathryn joins an exclusive roster of Filipino personalities who have been honored by Madame Tussauds in Hong Kong. Among them are Miss Universe winners Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray, boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, and fellow actress Anne Curtis, whose lifelike figures have also become popular attractions at the museum.

The unveiling quickly became one of the most talked-about entertainment events of the day as photos and videos from the ceremony spread across social media. Many of the circulating visuals showed Kathryn smiling as she stood beside her wax twin.
