While speaking with host Susan Enriquez, Eric was asked whether he considered himself a "babaero" after being linked to and having relationships with several women over the years.
“Sa dami ng na-link sa'yo at nakarelasyon mo, so, masasabi mo ba na babaero ka?” Susan inquired.
Rather than agreeing with the description, Eric jokingly said that he sees himself differently.

“Ay, hindi po. Marupok nga lang.”
Eric went on to explain why he does not consider himself a womanizer. According to the actor, someone who deserves that label is a man who deliberately exerts effort to pursue different women, something he said does not apply to him.
“Ang lalaking babaero, gumagawa ng effort para makakuha ng chicks. Hindi po ako ume-effort.”
Susan then playfully asked Eric if his good looks alone had been enough to attract women throughout the years.
The actor laughed before giving a lighthearted response, admitting that he was hesitant to say it himself but jokingly agreed with the suggestion.
“Hindi ko masabi. Parang ang kapal naman ng mukha ko. Pero parang ganu’n na nga.”
Through the interview, Eric offered his own take on the "babaero" label while keeping the conversation light and humorous.
