Lovely Abella recently shared a heartfelt experience from her travels, revealing how what she thought would be a chance to catch up on sleep turned into an opportunity to share God’s word with strangers she met along the way.

In a lengthy social media post, the actress and comedienne said she had initially planned to rest during the trip after losing sleep because she had rebooked her flight to surprise her husband.

However, she said things unfolded differently.

“I obey and this is urgent. Thank you Holy Spirit for leading me,” she wrote.

According to Lovely, instead of sleeping, she found herself sharing God’s goodness, love, and message with people she encountered throughout her journey.

“Sabi ko matutulog ako sa biyahe, kasi wala po ako tulog dahil nagrebooked ako ng flight para isurprise ang asawa ko, pero iba ang nangyari. I share His word, goodness and love para sa ibang mga anak niya,” she said.

The actress also realized that sometimes, what people need most is someone willing to listen to them.

“Minsan pala yun lang ang gusto ng iba yung makikinig saknila.”

Lovely revealed that she always carries her own Bible inside her hand-carry luggage and even brings extra copies for people she might meet.

“Sakto nagdadala talaga ko ng sarili kong Bible sa handcarry luggage ko at may extra pa para sana sa ibang makakausap ko sa jewelry show,” she shared.

She recounted how she was blessed to hear the stories of the people she met, beginning from the bus ride to the airport, while waiting to board, and even from seatmates on the plane.

“Super blessed ako today to hear the story ng lahat ng nakausap ko from sa Bus going to airport, standby bago mag boarding hanggang sa mga katabi ko sa flight.”

Although she was unable to get any sleep, Lovely said the strength she had throughout the experience came from God.

“Hindi man ako nakatulog pero yung strength ng oras na to galing sakanya.”

The actress then thanked God for choosing her and prayed that she would continue to obey Him for the rest of her life.

“Thank you LORD for choosing me. Praying na mag-obey ako forever sayo Lord.”

She also gave a message to the women she met during her trip, saying she is excited for what God has prepared for them.

“To my new found Ate, Mommy and Ga excited ako sa mga hinanda para sa inyo ni LORD.”

Lovely’s post drew positive reactions from netizens, with many praising her faith and her willingness to minister to others despite her exhaustion.
