OPM icon and rock legend Rico Blanco revealed that he remains open to finding love again despite currently being single.

During his guest appearance on the May 21 episode of the Kapuso talk show “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” host Boy Abunda asked Rico about his thoughts on being single and whether it is something he often reflects on.

Tito Boy directly asked the singer-songwriter, “Pagiging single, is it something that you think about?”

Rico responded by recalling a period in his life when he had already accepted the idea that staying single might be the best situation for him. He admitted that there was a time when he felt resigned to that kind of setup after years of personal experiences and relationships.

“There was a time where I resigned, na parang I knew that being single was the best set up for me,” Rico shared.

The musician then clarified that this realization happened a long time ago, and that his perspective eventually changed after entering another relationship later on.

“But that was a long time ago, and then I had a relationship after that,” he continued.

Rico went on to explain that while he is currently unattached, he is no longer closing his doors to romance. According to the singer, he remains hopeful and receptive to the possibility of finding love again in the future.

“Right now, I'm single but I'm open to not being single,” Rico said.

The candid statement gave fans a glimpse into his current outlook on love and companionship.
