She said: “There’s no easy way to say this. Next year, 2026, will be my last year with the band. Yes, ako ‘yung saranggola. And just like the song, the greatest and most important part of all of this is the friendships and relationships I’ve gained through it all.”
Jam referenced Ben&Ben’s song “Saranggola,” released earlier this year, which tells the story of friends going their separate ways while promising to keep their bond strong. Her message echoed the theme of the song, emphasizing that her departure does not mean the end of the relationships she built within the group.
She also reflected on her journey with the band, sharing how much she has grown since joining.

“Along the way I learned many important and crucial life lessons. I gained deep friendships and a chosen family I know I will love and cherish forever,” Jam said, expressing gratitude for the years she spent making music with Ben&Ben.
Fans flooded social media with messages of support, thanking Jam for her contribution to the band’s signature sound and wishing her well as she prepares for a new chapter in her life.
Ben&Ben is one of the most famous bands in the Philippines, known for their heartfelt songwriting and folk-pop sound. The group is behind well-loved hits like “Kathang Isip,” “Leaves,” “Maybe the Night,” and “Pagtingin,” songs that helped make them one of the country’s most streamed artists. They have also received several major awards, including multiple Awit Awards and the NME Award for Best Asian Band.
Previously, Ben&Ben went viral after a netizen claimed that the band could be booked for a high price without guaranteeing that the lead vocalists would perform. In a new post, the band shut down the false claim without directly mentioning the viral rumor. They shared that it is sad and exhausting to defend themselves again and again from fake information. Juan Karlos later reacted to the issue and showed support for the band.
Earlier, Ben&Ben’s Toni Muñoz revealed on Instagram that she has been diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy. The condition caused paralysis on the left side of her face, allowing her to smile only halfway and slightly affecting her speech. Toni shared her condition publicly so fans would not be shocked or confused when they see her at events.
