The post from Facebook page Showbiz List Daily featured photos of the actor at a golf tournament and was captioned, “DEREK RAMSAY enjoying his single life out of the country!”

To clarify the misinformation, Derek reposted the claim on his Instagram Story and wrote, “Out of the country pala ang Cavite!”

The photos used in the post were taken during a local golf event in Cavite, not overseas as stated.
