Xian Gaza Reflects on the Difference Between “Simple Living” and a “Difficult Life”
Businessman and social media personality Xian Gaza recently took to Facebook to share his thoughts on the difference between living a “simple life” and experiencing a “difficult life.”

He emphasized that a simple life does not mean living in poverty but rather practicing financial discipline and avoiding unnecessary luxuries.
“‘Simpleng Buhay’ and ‘Mahirap na Buhay’ are two different things. Simple life doesn’t mean na maghihirap agad kayo. It’s all about living below your means. A lifestyle that you don’t have to look rich. Yung buhay na komportable pero hindi flashy. Yung nababayaran mo lahat ng bills tapos wala kang gustong patunayan sa lahat,” Gaza wrote.

He pointed out how people, regardless of their income levels, can still struggle financially if they fail to live within their means.
“May kilala ako na kumikita ng 50K per month pero hirap pa rin sa buhay ngayon kasi kumuha ng hulugan na sedan. May kilala ako na kumikita ng 200K per month pero hirap pa rin sa buhay ngayon kasi kumuha ng hulugang SUV, condo at mga alahas,” he said.
Gaza also noted that even those earning millions per month can still find themselves financially burdened if they engage in excessive spending.
“May kilala ako na kumikita ng milyon kada buwan pero naghahabol pa rin sa mga bills hanggang ngayon kasi kung anu-ano ang pinagbibibili at luma-lifestyle ng todo-todo,” he added.
Concluding his message, Gaza stressed that financial stability is not solely determined by income but also by spending habits.
“At the end of the day, no matter how much you earn, kung hindi ka matututong mamuhay ng simple, mahihirapan ka lang sa buhay,” he wrote.
