Xian Lim on past relationship: “Definitely, hindi siya playtime”

Actor Xian Lim received a question about relationships while promoting his upcoming GMA Films and Viva Pictures movie “Playtime”, co-starring Sanya Lopez and Coleen Garcia.

Entertainment reporter Rose Garcia asked Xian, who recently had a breakup with actress Kim Chiu:

“Sa totoong buhay, nang-play time ka na ba or na play time ka ba? How was it? Do you think ang haba o ang tagal ng relasyon, 'yung pagdating sa ending, pwede mong sabihin, 'Ay, playtime lang pala kahit napakahaba'.”

Xian, who is now dating producer Iris Lee, replied that he has never entered a relationship just to play around. According to Xian, whether the romance lasted for weeks or for years, it was never just “playtime” for him, emphasizing that ex-partners played an important role in his life.

“Kung 'yung ako 'yung nam-playtime, hindi po. If ako ba 'yung na-playtime, hindi ko alam.

“If sa duration ng relationship, masasabi mo no matter how long kung playtime nga ba... I don’t think so.

“Parang maski sabihin po natin weeks lang po 'yan or years. You can never say it was playtime. Because if there was a reason kung bakit dumating 'yung taong 'yun sa buhay mo, mapamaganda man o hindi, there is a reason why that person played a role in your life. So definitely, hindi siya playtime,” Xian said.

Xian Lim is a Pinoy actor, singer, host, model, blogger, filmmaker. He used to be a contract artist of Star Magic until he signed a contract with Viva Artists Agency in January 2018 and he officially moved to GMA Network in 2022.
