Maricar Reyes on not having a child: “It doesn’t make me feel less of a person”

Maricar Reyes showed her wisdom and maturity during her interview with Rica Peralejo on the latter’s YouTube channel.

The actress-entrepreneur shared that she and her husband, Richard Poon, got checked by a doctor to see if they have infertility issues since they do not have a child yet after years of being married.

The doctor told them that there was no problem with both of them and that it is not clear why they cannot conceive yet.

However, Maricar said that she has no issues with not having a child and that she will peacefully accept whatever happens.

Furthermore, Maricar believes that she is not less of a person or a woman by not having a child.

In the comments section of the vlog, many netizens praised Maricar for her inspiring interview with Rica.

“We even got checked. There’s no problem with him, there’s no problem with me. Feeling ko, we did our due diligence naman on our side [as] humanly possible. Pero wala e, so what are you going to do?”

“Meron lang talaga akong peace.

“Kung meron, okay. Kung wala, okay. It doesn’t make me feel like I’m less of a person or I’m less of a female. Kung wala, wala. Ginawa mo na ‘yung part mo e, and I rest on that,” Maricar explained.
