In her Instagram post, Pia expressed her gratitude to the Halloween Committees, parents, guardians, admin staff, and maintenance team for their collective effort in making the event possible.

The event, traditionally marked by a lavish costume pageant, performances, and delectable treats at the clubhouse, took on a different form this year due to ongoing health concerns. Pia's decision to forego these elements did not dampen the Halloween spirit, as the community came together in a safer setting.

This charming celebration allowed kids of all ages to embrace their creativity by dressing up in costumes, and residents also had the chance to adorn their homes with Halloween decorations. Pia Magalona summed up the event as "the simplest yet highly successful" in terms of planning, leaving everyone "tired yet happy."

“Last Saturday’s Trick or Treat in our area of the Hills. Normally, we hold a party complete with a costume pageant, performances and eats at the clubhouse. This year, we decided to entirely skip that part of our annual Halloween celebration due to health risks posed by social gatherings.

”It turns out, everyone really enjoyed what eventually has become known as the simplest—in terms of planning—yet highly successful (a TEN on the happiness scale!) events ever.

“Kids of all ages still had the chance to get creative and dress up in their costumes, and residents got to dress up their homes as well. As the old saying goes, we ended up “tired yet happy!!”

“Thank you to the members of the Halloween Committees, parents, guardians, our admin staff and maintenance team for making it possible… and best of all, thank you to the weather for being most cooperative, as there was nary a drop of rain on that most spook-tacular Hallow’s Eve,” Pia shared.

She also thanked the weather for cooperating, ensuring that not a drop of rain fell on that spooktacular Halloween night.

Aside from Saab, her sister, Maxene, also greeted their father and delivered a similar message.
