Newly-elected Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno has recently signed a memorandum of agreement with the officials of the Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) on Thursday.
KAMI learned that the deal will give Manila residents a 50% discount on tuition fee when they enroll in EAC.
In a report by the GMA News, 12 residents in all 896 barangays in Manila will be allowed to apply for the scholarship. The discount will be available for two regular semesters.
However, scholars should maintain their grades higher than 80% to enjoy the benefit.

In a recent report by KAMI, Mayor Isko led a 48-hour clearing operation in different parts of Manila. Viral photos showed that the overcrowded Divisoria and Carriedo are now clean.
Ever since the campaign period, Moreno vowed to clean the streets of Manila. He successfully dethroned former Mayor Joseph “Erap” Estrada during the May 2019 polls.
