- Bayani Agbayani disclosed that he received several offers from “Ang Probinsyano”
- His supposed role was to become the father of Jessy Mendiola
- The comedian also revealed the reason why it did not push through
Kapamilya comedian Bayani Agbayani frankly spoke up about the rumors that he repeatedly declined several offers from the top-rating show “Ang Probinsyano.”
KAMI learned that the celebrity revealed the truth during his guesting in one of the recent episodes of “Tonight With Boy Abunda.”
Bayani straightforwardly expressed that the speculations are not true since he is sure that he will accept whatever is offered to him by Coco Martin.
The comedian clarified that he did receive an offer from the primetime show but there was a conflict in schedule since he was doing “Sana Dalawa Ang Puso” during that time.
After several weeks, he then received another important offer from “Ang Probinsyano,” specifically to act as the father of Jessy Mendiola.
However, the actor’s teleserye was still airing on television that time so he still found it hard to attend to the taping dates of the highest-rating drama series.
“Probinsyano, tatanggihan mo? Coco Martin!
After mga two weeks, tinawagan na ako.
“Yung last, dapat tatay ako ni Jessy Mendiola. Bayano quipped.
Here is the video of the interview:
In a previous article by KAMI, Bayano almost “walked out” of the noontime show It’s Showtime because of Vhong Navarro’s comment.
Bayani Agbayani is one of the most effective comedians in the Philippines. He already starred in several comedy films before including “Otso-Otso Pamela-Mela-Wan,” “Walang Iwanan Peksman,” and “Pera O Bayong (Not Da TV!).”
Just last year, he became a “sing-vestigator” in “I Can See Your Voice.”
