Kapamilya host Boy Abunda received numerous backlashes on social media because of his way of questioning a Miss Q&A Grand Finalist named Chad Kinis Lustre-Reid.
KAMI learned that the said celebrity served as one of the judges in the LGBTQ+ competition administered by the noontime show, “It’s Showtime.”
Tito Boy was tasked to throw a hilarious question to Chad so he asked the candidate about the relationship of “Tito Boy” and “Ate Girl.”
With all his poise, the Grand Finalist immediately answered the question and said that the relationship of “Tito Boy” and “Ate Girl” depends on their surnames.
In the midst of delivering his lines, the “Tonight With Boy Abunda” host interrupted Chad and clarified that their surnames are not the same.
Accordingly, the candidate admitted that it was a very hard question but he rebutted that it is already the concern of the Kapamilya host because it involves his family.
“Pero Chad, tito Boy ako, siya si ate Girl. Kaya tinatanong kita, baka sakaling may relasyon kami. Kaano-ano ko siya? Kailangan bang magka-apelyido kami para magkaroon ng relasyon?” the judge asked.
“Marami po tayong mga bagay-bagay at misteryong nababalot sa mundo. Yan pong katanungan nay an ay napakahirap dahil yan po ay pamilya mo. Wag niyo po akong idamay,” Chad hilariously replied.

Because of this, a lot of netizens got furious and they expressed their disappointment regarding the questioning of Tito Boy.
Some stated that it is unprofessional to interrupt a candidate while answering a question while others believed that the celebrity forgot that he was a judge and not a host during the event.

“May pa-follow up pang nalalaman kasi. Di naman nakakatuwa. Na interrupt tuloy sa pag sagot si Chad!”
