Likas sa ating mga Pilipino ang pagiging malikhain. Isa na rito si Mark Ty na binahagi sa KAMI ang kanyang mga kamangha-manghang likhang sining.
Bata pa lamang si Mark kinakitaan na siya ng angking talento sa sining kaya naman hanggang sa kanyang paglaki, ginawa na niya itong isang propesyon.
Kadalasang tema ng kanyang sining ang ay mga tao, siyudad at pamilya.
Isa nga sa kanyang ginawa ay mga badjao haouses dito sa Pinas na para talagang totoo.
Ang bawat likhang sining niya ay kumakatawan sa realidad dito sa ating lipunan.
Minsan na rin siyang na-feature sa solar channel at sa palabas na Living Asia dahil sa angking galing sa Art.
Narito ang ilan sa mga likhang sining ni Mark Ty na buong puso niyang binabahagi upang magsilbing inspirasyon sa iba pang artist na gaya niya.
Mark Ty, an architecture student and the same time a visual art teacher. During childhood he had seen with lots of potential to be an artist through his doodle and wild imagination. He dreamt to be an architect to corporate his style into the design of the structure to give more distinct and aesthetic approach that he hopes someday to be a famous landmark.
Most of his works depicts the life of a city, its people and tradition and also born with multi ethnic family helps him to perceive the diverse society differently. Working in mixed media he uses a broken mirrors which signifies the reflection of the society, the collapse of traditional way of life, political injustice, destruction of morality and the pressure of the modern life.
His artworks for the past few years transform standard notion of realism into uniquely expressive form. “I want my works to reflect and convey a message to the viewer”, he says. The artist lives and works in General Santos City.
