Inakalang patay na siya! Mayor Jonathan Tan reveals why girlfriend Bianca Manalo thought he was already dead after the boat incident

It was supposed to be a Holy week getaway from the city for Antique Mayor Jonathan Tan and actress Bianca Manalo together with Ehra Madrigal and husband Tony Leung.
However, it turned into a horrible boat tragedy for the group who were headed to Mararison Island on Maundy Thursday.
KAMI learned from philnews that the boat used by Mayor Jonathan, Bianca, Ehra and Tony together with Bennie Dable, mayor's cousin And bodyguard was capsized as it was hit by big waves.
Unfortunately, Bennie did not survive the incident. On the other hand, the 4 was able to save their lives.
Mayor Jonathan narrated that everything happened so fast. It took only 10-15 seconds and their speedboat capsized.
He also said that he swam for almost 2 hours before he was rescued.
“I think mga 15 seconds, tumaob kami… The problem there, yung life vests, nakatali,” he revealed.
All of them are holding tightly to the speedboat before it was hit by 3 big waves.
Good thing he was able to get a life vest and a container for him to be able to float in the middle of the sea.
"May nakita ako na shore, pero malayo… Nag-swimming ako, two and a half hours, to get there… Nakakapit sila sa speedboat before I left… I was praying to God, I’m asking for help God, protection and everything,” he said.
He even vomited 5 times but they kept on fighting. They headed back to where the other passengers were until they get some help.
"Sabi ko nga, noong papunta ako ng shore, lumalangoy ako ng two and a half hours, hindi ako umiiyak, e. Umiiyak ako noong pabalik, kasi yung fear ko, ‘Nandiyan pa ba sila?’… Happily… salamat sa Diyos, nakita namin sila,” he said.
That was the reason why Bianca Manalo thought that her boyfriend was already dead, it took them more than 2 hours to find each other and lucky for the 4 of them for they survived.
Mayor Jonathan and the group were headed to Mararison Island to let his freinds see the beauty of the place.
Mararison Island is one of the tourist spot of Antique.
Though actress Bianca manalo was able to attend mass already, she was still crying and still coping from the incident.
They considered their lives as their second one already.
