Hollywood star Drew Barrymore is back in Manila!
The former Charlie's Angels actress posted a photo of her arrival at the airport. She was surrounded by her security escort.
Drew wrote in the caption: "We have arrived. Safe, as you can see! So many guards I feel like a alterna grunge princess."
Drew is here to promote the second season of her Netflix original series Santa Clarita Diet.
The horror-comedy series will have a red carpet event and premiere night at the SM Megamall on Monday.
Drew plays Sheila Hammond, a realtor living in the Los Angeles suburbs. But she's no ordinary mother and housewife, she's actually an undead zombie.
The official synopsis for the new season reads: "Season 2 of Santa Clarita Diet finds the Hammonds trying to adapt to Sheila's now-advanced undead state - even though she's desperately working to hold on to her suburban lifestyle and not be defined as just another monster. Unfortunately, while the family has become markedly better at murder, the number of missing people in Santa Clarita is starting to pile up and it's no longer going unnoticed."
This is not the first time that Drew visited the Philippines.
The last time she was here was in September 2016 when she promoted her make-up line Flower Beauty.
Drew starred in popular films such as Scream (1996), Ever After (1998), The Wedding Singer (1998), Never Been Kissed (1999), Charlie's Angels (2000), Donnie Darko (2001), and 50 First Dates (2004).
