During a break from the auditions for Pilipinas Got Talent, Vice Ganda explained how the ongoing joke about him being a horse look-a-like started.
The judges were discussing a contestant who imitated different animals.
Vice said he might be blamed for the emergence of animal-like contestants.
So merong sumali rito lahat ng hayop ginaya niya!" joked Vice.
Angel Locsin asked her fellow judge why he was called a horse.
Vice explained that it was because of how he looked when he was just starting out in ABS-CBN.
But instead of losing confidence, the comedian turned it in his favor.
His first starring role is the remake of the comedy film Petrang Kabayo in 2010.
It was followed by Praybeyt Benjamin, which was a big hit and cemented his star as a blockbuster comedian.
Aside from being a judge in PGT, he is also a host on noontime show It's Showtime.
