Vice Ganda, asked to suggest name for Romeo's baby

Comedian Vice Ganda just went viral as his reaction was caught on video after someone asked him for any suggestions on what to name Romeo’s baby.
The TV host was on his way out of the dressing room when the interviewer jumped out of nowhere, intent on requesting Vice to offer possible choices to call the bundle of joy.
Romeo is the name of the male lead character in ABS-CBN’s sitcom, “Home Sweetie Home” played by John Lloyd Cruz. His wife, Julie, is portrayed by Toni Gonzaga who is also expecting in real life.

The show has been asking help from its viewers to help the couple come up with a name for their first child.
The video uploaded on It’s Showtime’s official Facebook page has been viewed at least five hundred thousand times while it continued to spread on social media with over 3,000 shares.
A confused Vice Ganda can be seen at first upon hearing that Julie is carrying Romeo’s baby. Funny hashtags like “#Bitter?”, “#Hugot?”, and “#AnongMeronKayRomeo?” (#What’sWithRomeo?) appeared on the screen while the comedian was in hysterics.

In the end, to let the audience get into the joke, it was clarified that they were referring to Cruz’s character, Romeo Valentino.
The noontime variety show host was previously linked with then FEU star, Terrence Romeo back in 2014. He announced his separation from his boyfriend of 5 years followed by a mysterious tweet, “I Tried but im TiRed. Time to Rest”. Fans believed that the emphasis to the letters T and R were Romeo’s initials.
Together with his father, the basketball player gave an interview – dismissing all the rumors connecting him to the comedian while the latter clarified that he never confirmed that he was in a relationship with Romeo.
Vice Ganda’s love life has been quiet for some time now while Terrence Romeo just finished his stint with the Gilas Pilipinas and is currently a professional basketball player for the GlobalPort Batang Pier of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).

Vice Ganda or Jose Marie Borja Viceral is a comedian, host, endorser, recording artist and now an author. He is one of the main hosts of ABS-CBN’s noontime variety show, It’s Showtime, which airs Monday-Saturday. On Sunday, he can be seen on his hit show, Gandang Gabi Vice.
