On Monday, October 11, the television host delivered a trivia about crocodiles during the debut of his segment #KuyaKimAnoNa.
Kuya Kim then took to social media to post about his “historical first day” on the Kapuso news program.
“Historical 1st day. To God be the glory!” he penned alongside screengrabs from the said segment.
However, one basher penned an unsolicited comment on his post.
“NAKAKAHIYA, HANGGANG HULING HININGA SA ABS CBN DAW SYA. SINUNGALING.”
Kuya Kim then shrugged off the negative remark and replied:
“alis ka muna. bye”

Alejandro Ilagan Atienza, also known as Kuya Kim, is a former politician, weather anchor, actor, and television personality. He has served as a politician from 1995 to 2004. He hosted ABS-CBN's educational show, 'Matanglawin', and became the weather anchor of the network's television newscast, TV Patrol. Kuya Kim is also a host for the popular noontime variety show, 'It's Showtime'.
It can be recalled that Kuya Kim created a buzz earlier, due to GMA’s art card teasing the public about a “Kuya” who will be joining the network. A few days after, the TV host shared on social media the official statement of ABS-CBN on his network transfer. The network thanked him "for his dedication, passion, and most of all, service to the Filipino people". Kapamilya stars like Ogie Alcasid, Angel Locsin and Vhong Navarro then took to the comment section to react to Kuya Kim's post showing the said statement.
Cristy Fermin also aired her honest thoughts on Kuya Kim's network transfer. Nanay Cristy recollected Kuya Kim’s past statement on his loyalty to ABS-CBN. Part of her frank commentary was, “Kaya kapag hindi kayang panindigan, 'wag magsalita."
