In an Instagram post on Wednesday, September 29, the actress remembered her grandfather who would have been 84 years old by now.
She posted a cozy photo of her and Miguel Alvir embracing each other.
In the caption, the 24-year-old female celebrity expressed how much she misses her “angel” who is celebrating his second birthday in heaven today.

“Happy birthday 9/29, my angel I miss you terribly,” Julia wrote.
Julia Barretto is a popular actress, endorser and vlogger in the Philippines. She is the daughter of former celebrity couple Marjorie Barretto and Dennis Padilla. The well-known actress is currently in a relationship with actor Gerald Anderson and she also used to be the girlfriend of actor Joshua Garcia.
Miguel Alvir Barretto, on the other hand, is the father of the famous Barretto sisters. He died in 2019 and left behind wife Estrella “Inday” Barretto and seven children: Mito, Michelle, Joaquin, Gia, Gretchen, Marjorie, and Claudine.
Julia recently uploaded a new vlog showing her having a productive day. It was the first episode of her “Life Lately” series on her YouTube channel. In the seven-minute video, Julia could be seen preparing her meal, paying her bills and cleaning her house, among others. Its viewers then admired the 24-year-old actress for being independent.
Her mom, Marjorie, has also updated previously her YouTube channel with a fun episode. The veteran actress released a vlog featuring her children – Dani, Julia, Claudia, Leon, and Erich. In the vlog, Marjorie's five kids took on ‘Who Knows Mom the Most’. The siblings tried their best to answer some interesting questions about their mom.
