According to Robin, his martial arts master Kru Roberto Valdez taught him not to allow other people to wash the clothes and gear he uses for training and exercising.

“ang mga ginagamit mo sa training hindi yan dapat bumabaho o pinalalaban mo sa iba. ‘it is a relationship between you and your training gears’ (mahilig mag english si master) walang fighter na amoy paa.
“kaya nakaugalian ko na ba tuwing hapon ibabad ko na ang pawisan kong ginamit sa sabon at pagkatapos ng dasal sa fajr(dawn prayer) nilalabhan ko na ito gamit ang paa ( kailangan paa kasi may coordination movement pa rin yun at balancing, siguraduhin na may mahahawakan kapag na out balance sa dulas ng sabon) pagkatapos nito ay isampay na,” Robin shared on Instagram.
