Pauleen Luna, a well-known celebrity and TV presenter, endured more than two hours of waiting in line to register at one of the registration centers of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC).

The TV presenter posted on her IG Stories the things she went through to register at a COMELEC registration center located in a mall.
It is not clear whether Pauleen is a new registrant, an old voter who wanted to reactivate her registration, or those seeking to transfer their voter registration.
However, her posts seem to indicate that she is a new registrant.

Documenting her registration process, Pauleen first posted a photo of what could have been her legs and shoes, as well as a paved area that might be the outside section of the mall.
“I arrived at 7:10 AM and it's now 9:23. I'm happy to be able to sit down now,” Pauleen captioned her post.
The TV presenter also said she wasn’t given a time slot through the COMELEC website.
“I didn't get a time slot through the website, though I filled up the form and printed it out. I'm here for walk-in. Surprisingly, the line for the walk-in people is shorter,” she revealed.
Her succeeding posts were a combination of photos and videos with several more captions.
In one post, Pauleen said she was already inside the mall and in her subsequent posting was seen holding a brown envelope sitting near what appeared to be the COMELEC’s screening center.
“Stage 2 na! LOL, kidding aside, I'm inside the mall na! Happily comfortable in my chair with AC. Everything is smooth naman. I'm happy. Patience lang talaga, but all good! Hello sabi ng baby hair,” the actress and TV presenter said.
Finally, Pauleen posted a new photo with a caption that indicated she’s done with the registration process.
“So basically, it took me 5 hours before I could finally register. Honestly, it's worth it. Aside from the line outside of the mall which took about an hour and a half to two, we were comfortably inside the mall waiting. As long as you observe social distancingand you keep your mask and faceshield on the entire time, you will feel and be safe. There's still time. Register now,” Pauleen said.
Based on her posts, the TV presenter went through the registration process like any other ordinary registrant.
Although her husband, Vic Sotto, is the younger brother of Philippine Senate President Tito Sotto, and could have helped make it easy for her, Pauleen opted to do it without using any influence.
Something that many Filipinos are now applauding her for.
