On her latest YouTube vlog episode, Jessy shared that some of her former friends did not approve of her relationship with Luis.
The actress admitted to getting hurt and offended as her friends were bashing and disrespecting Luis.
Because she did not listen to them, Jessy was left behind by her friends although they eventually realized that they were mistaken about Luis.

However, the damage was done and their friendship was never the same.
“I also have friends before na ayaw kay Luis, and puro pangba-bash 'yung ginawa nila sa akin. Siyempre na-hurt ako kasi nung time na 'yun, parang, huh? Luis is a good guy, why would you not want him for me?
“So ang ending, iniwan nila ako, binash nila ako, and after a few months, nag-sorry naman din sila sa akin. But, you know, it's never the same. Especially alam mong wala ka namang inagrabyado, wala ka namang ginawang masama, tapos bigla kang ginanon. So yeah, I have," she shared.
Jessy Mendiola is an actress and endorser in the Philippines, best known for her roles in “Maria Mercedes” and “Budoy.” She is now married to actor-host Luis Manzano, son of Vilma Santos and Edu Manzano.
In an earlier report by KAMI, Jessy admitted in her vlog that she and Luis separated as a couple in May. This was the time when her jeweler friend allegedly showed her the engagement ring and ruined Luis’ future proposal.
Luis’s mother Vilma also praised Jessy in a video interview. According to Vilma, she likes that Jessy prays the Rosary daily and that she loves her family very much.
