Although President Duterte did not name the local chief executive, he gave out clues that described the former profession of the said mayor.

“Iyan ang gusto ninyo? Ang training parang call boy,” President Duterte said.

He also reminded everyone of what the unnamed local chief executive did in the past.

“Naghuhubad, nagpi-picture, naka-bikiní tapos 'yung garter tinatanggal niya,” the President said.

Further giving a hint of who it might be, President Digong said that the said mayor wanted to become the President of the Philippines, adding that his only training for the position is to pose without clothes.

“Iyan ang training ng presidente, maghubad at magpa-picture at magsilip,” the President further said.

Reiterating about the mayor’s alleged training as akin to that of a “call boy,” the President then directed the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) to take charge of distributing financial aid.

While President Rodrigo Duterte's term as President may be filled with controversial pronouncements such as the one he made recently about a mayor of a particular LGU in Metro Manila, he still managed to maintain his popularity. This was proven in his last SONA where spectators interrupted his speech with several instances of clapping.

The President is also quick to "let bygones be bygones," as what happened in the case of Olympic Gold Medalist, Hidilyn Diaz. President Duterte openly pledged the amount of P3 million to the Olympic champ. The President and Hidilyn had a short 11-minute Zoom call on Wednesday, a few moments after Hidily arrived in the Philippines. Duterte also praised the achievement of Hidilyn and stated that the country is very proud.
