Robin Padilla gave an inspiring and insightful interview to his friend, Ogie Diaz, on the latter’s YouTube vlog.

KAMI learned that Robin revealed during the interview that it is his passion to use his extra money to help people in need.
According to the actor, he has spent millions helping others by making movies to give jobs to his colleagues, making a cemetery for Muslims, and donating to poor people.
He shared that when he and Mariel were hired for a commercial recently, all of the earnings were used to donate to his fellow Muslims during Ramadan.
Likewise, he donated the money given to him by ABS-CBN to buy rice for the people who did not have enough food amid the pandemic.
“Kinuha kami sa commercial, pinamigay naming ng Ramadan. Hindi na dumaan sa amin yun.
“Pagkabayad sa amin nun, bigay na naming kaagad sa mga Muslim. Nagpa-contest na ako.
“Di naman ako nanghihinayang dun, masaya ako dun.
“Nung dumating yung pandemic, wala na yon, withdraw ko na lahat yun. Pinamigay ko nitong pandemic. Binigay ko sa mga tao. Binigya nga akong pera ng ABS-CBN pinambili ko ng bigas,” Robin told Ogie.
Furthermore, the action star admitted that his wife, Mariel Padilla, sometimes gets shocked and stressed when he gives away his earnings to help others.
However, he explained to his wife that he would not give away those earnings if he knew that his family needed that money.
“Pag sobra na, ipamigay mo na kaysa matapon…
“Lagi kong sinasabi yan kay Mariel kasi minsan umaangal sila e.
“Hindi naman away. Parang ano lang, parang nagugulat lang siya. Kasi minsan buo e, wala ka man lang tinira. Inexplain ko naman sa kanya, kung nakita kong kailangan natin, bakit ko ipamimigay. Hindi naman natin kailangan,” Robin shared.
