Erwan Heussaff shared on his Instagram account the amount he needed to spend for his staff’s swab tests.
The total cost is almost comparable to a year’s average salary of a supervisor, or even bigger in some instances.
The model and influencer husband of Anne Curtis did not specify the details on his post, though he did show several amounts with the total sum of P365,000.
The first item costs 122,500, followed by 38,500, and then 204,000, bringing the sum to the amount already mentioned above.
According to a report by Rappler almost a year ago, RT-PCR test cost can range between P3,800 and P10,000 depending on the facility and turnaround time.
A more recent data provided by The Medical City shows that their Drive-Thru site’s RT-PCR test costs around P5,000.
In the case of Philippine Airlines, their website approximates the cost of their RT-PCR test at P3,500 starting July 1, 2021.
However, this only applies to the arriving passengers onboard the aircrafts of the airline company.
The RT-PCR test is the World Health Organization “gold standard” in checking for the coronavirus infection.
Erwan did not indicate the number of his staff and the tests they would undergo for the half-month period indicated in his post.
What is clear is that the total cost of the sums he mentioned amounted to P365,000, which is roughly equivalent or comparable to a year’s salary of a supervisor in an average-size company.
