Derek Ramsay, isiniwalat na di pala sana matutuloy ang proposal kay Ellen Adarna: “I was so stressed!”

“’My only wish is that we have to go to Cebu. We have to talk to the mom before you marry,’” Derek quoted his mom.

However, they cannot do that at the moment because of the health restrictions.

“We cant go because of the quarantine. No they can't, they can't, my parents, I don't want to risk my parents,” Derek explained.

He then revealed he turned to technology to do the “pamanhikan.”

“We organized a Zoom version of the ‘pamanhikan,’ because as my mom says, I have to do that,” Derek said.

The actor did and finally got to ask Ellen’s mom for her permission.

“I spoke to the mom asking permission for her hand and she said okay but no return no exchange,” Derek said, adding that he said it’s a go.

He also said that Ellen’s mom told him she’s going to be his number one fan from now on.
