"Pasensya ka na if na-offend ka sa sinabi ko pero totoo hindi kumpleto ang buhay kapag walang tatay. Pero kapag nanood ka ng latest vlog ko ako mismo ang nagsabi na I did not grow up having a father and so how that was healed in me is to find it in my Heavenly Father

"And the people around me like mga kuya kuya. I understand your pain kaya siguro ganito ang comment mo sakin but the pain is generalizing one statement that does not say you are invalidated at all," Rica began.

The celebrity mom then went on to write about how she will pray for the netizen as it is "her pain talking."

"This is your pain talking. Accusing me of what I have never said. And again, I understand. So let me just pray instead for you, that whatever pain you are going through, the trauma you have experienced, the unmet need you have never received, God can heal."

Furthermore, in the end, Rica asked the netizen not to take her comment as an "attack on your kakulangan" for being a single mother.

"Please do not take this as an attack on your kakulangan. The truth is: NO ONE IS MEANT TO PARENT ALONE. Even a complete set of parents need a VILLAGE to raise the child. And so the sides are all met — mother and father."

It can also be worth noting that Rica also included a postscript in her original online post regarding the netizen's comment.
