Rabiya called her and told her, "Ma , hanggang dun lang narating ko."

The mother told her that she really loves her, and shows her unwavering support for her daughter.

"Sabi ko sa kanya, 'I love you, anak. Since tapos na ang event, set aside mo na ang isip mo. Magpahinga ka muna. Take your time. Galing ka sa pageant and napakahirap ng naranasan mo. Magpahinga ka muna for a while, and I'm looking forward for you to come back home," said Rabiya's mom.

Christine knew that Rabiya gave it her all and she sacrificed so much. She also highlighted how her daughter persevered despite all adversities.

Rabiya Occeña Mateo is an Indian-Filipino model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Philippines in 2020. She is set to represent the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant, which will be held on May 16, 2021 in Florida. Rabiya was born on November 14, 1996 to an Indian-American father and a Filipino mother who later separated.

Rabiya Mateo just revealed her plans after her Miss Universe journey. She said that she might be taking break from social media and thereafter, she's planning to go into show business. She then highlighted that she might go the way of "acting." The beauty queen also expressed that she felt sad when she was not called for the Top 10 but she saw the 10 girls and felt they deserve it.

Rabiya Mateo’s boyfriend posted a simple, yet very meaningful message on his Instagram Stories. The post, which contain just one Ilonggo word, also has a “Baybayin” script equivalent on the top. Rabiya’s longtime BF, Neil Salvacion, is known to be very supportive in all endeavors of the Ilongga beauty queen. The simple message he posted is proof of that.
