Rabiya Mateo recently described what she felt about her first official appearance following the Miss Universe pageant last week.

According to the Filipina beauty queen, she has just spent time with the Filipino community in Los Angeles who gave her their warm support. Rabiya likewise regarded the event as her “mini victory party".

“Earlier today, I had an amazing time with the Filipino community here in Los Angeles. This is my first official appearance after the competition. It felt like my mini victory party,” the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 title-holder posted.

Rabiya Occeña Mateo is an Indian-Filipino model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Philippines in 2020. She became beloved in the country for her beauty, confidence and intelligence and for humble background.

The beauty queen represented the country in the 69th Miss Universe pageant held on May 16, 2021 in Florida, USA.

Rabiya ended her journey in the Miss Universe 2020 as she did not make it to the Top 10. She finished at the Top 21 of the said pageant. Andrea Meza of Mexico won the 69th Miss Universe crown, beating out 73 other beauty queens.
