Rabiya Mateo may have not been able to secure a spot in the top ten contenders for the Miss Universe 2020 crown but she is winning hearts of people all over the world.
In a video that recently surfaced online, Miss India Adline Castelino, now Miss Universe Third Runner-Up, is all praises for the Philippines’ representative to the beauty pageant.

Adline began by addressing Filipinos listening in that Rabiya is very hardworking and humble.
“I wanna tell you that this girl, your queen, is the most hardworking girl and is the most humble woman that i've known,” Adline said.
She then went on to reveal the challenges that Rabiya faced all throughout the competition.
“I cannot even explain it but I can just feel the pain in her eye during all of the days that she has to work so hard that she must have cried in her sleep,” the now-Miss Universe Third Runner-Up revealed.
Adline also praised Rabiya for being able to move on inspite of everything.
“She is able to move on, you know, even if anything came, she just moved on,” Miss India said.
Finally, she expressed how glad she is to have Rabiya as a friend and also implored everyone to keep on supporting her.
“I'm proud of her and I'm so glad to have her as a friend and please continue your support to her throughout her life no matter what happens,” Adline, who is now the Miss Universe Third Runner-Up said, adding that Filipinos are very special.
Rabiya was equally effusive with her thanks and gratitude for what Adline said. “Oh thank you Adline, that was so beautiful,” the Philippines’ representative to the Miss U 2020 said.

She represented the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant, held on May 16, 2021 in Florida. Rabiya was born on born November 14, 1996 to an Indian-American father and a Filipino mother who later separated.

A few days ago, Rabiya proved she’s got what it takes when her Instagram followers ballooned to more than one million as of Friday, making her the most followed candidate of Miss Universe 2020. She is the first candidate in this year’s beauty pageant to have amassed such huge following on the particular social media platform. Recently, Rabiya earned praises and respect of her Filipinos, as well as many other people around the world, upon learning that her national costume weighed around 21 kilos and she carried it with grace.
Her popularity on social media proved too juicy for some posers who started presenting themselves as Rabiya in social media platforms like Twitter. There is an account on the said micro-blogging platform claiming as the official Twitter account of Rabiya Mateo. However, the beauty queen stated that she has no Twitter account. Rabiya declared this to MJ Lastimosa, who is one of her biggest supporters, who went with the whole Miss U crew. She categorically said, “wala akong Twitter.”
