This is a few days after some netizens accused her of not supporting the current Miss Universe Philippines on her feat to bring home the Miss Universe crown.
"Friends! Let's send prayers up for our very own Ms Philippines #RabiyaMateo tonight as she prepares for the Closed Door Interview and National Costume show for @MissUniverse happening in the next 24hrs!! #AribaRabiya," Catriona tweeted on Thursday night, May 13.

Rabiya then acknowledged Catriona's post by sharing it on her Instagram Stories.
Miss Universe 2020 will be the 69th edition of the Miss Universe competition. The global pandemic forced the Ms. Universe organization to cancel the events last year and move it to May 16, 2021 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, United States. Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa will crown her successor at the end of the event.
