Alma Moreno may have truly and completely moved on from her turbulent past with Joey Marquez, as she claimed to be happy for her ex, particularly with his own love life.

The actress-politician made this revelation in the latest vlog of Winwyn, Alma’s daughter with Joey.
She also gave some pieces of advice to those who feel they are being hoodwinked by their romantic partners.
“Seryoso ‘to kasi marami na pong pinagdaanan. Hindi, joke lang,” she jokingly said.
According to the actress, she’s the type who would do everything to save a relationship.
“Hanggang kaya mong isalba ‘yung relasyon ninyo, isasalba mo. Pero kung napuno na ‘yan, may hangganan talaga ‘yan. ‘Pag naubos ka, sorry ka,” Alma said.
She said that if she arrives at a point where she wants out, she will get out.
“Kasi ‘pag ayoko na, ayoko na. Kasi kumbaga ginawa ko na ‘yung part ko eh. Wala siyang masisisi sa’yo na bakit hindi ka nagtiis. Sobra na ‘yun eh,” the actress explained.
When asked about her relationship with Joey, the actress said she is happy for her former partner as he was able to find a romantic companion who would take care of him.
“Natutuwa po ako dahil nakatagpo na po siya ng talagang mabait po at mag-aalaga sa kanya,” Alma said.

Vanessa Moreno Lacsamana, better known as Alma Moreno, is a Filipina actress and politician. She was born on May 25, 1959 in Cervantes, Ilocos Sur to parents Frank Lacsamana, from Pampanga, and Jean Moreno. She made her showbiz debut as a Darna in Urduja with Amalia Fuentes. Her first break was in Ligaw na Bulaklak Part 2 with Vic Silayan. She also tried her hand at politics, running for Mayor of Parañaque in 2004 but did not make it. In 2007, Alma was elected as Councilor of the city, and was re-elected in 2010.

Alma’s daughter, Winwyn Marquez, has met with some controversies in the past, with one of them involving her conversation with a netizen who commented on her looks. The netizen compared Winwyn’s beauty to that of Alma Moreno, her celebrity mom. The actress, when she was younger, was prettier than Winwyn, according to the netizen. Wyn agreed with the netizen’s statement, saying that it is obvious that her mom is prettier.
Recently, Alma’s name was again dragged into the limelight when Mark Anthony Fernandez, her son with the late action star, Rudy Fernandez, got embroiled in a controversy of his own. This involved his alleged COVID vaccination even though his name was not on the list. The matter became so controversial that even President Duterte was forced to order an investigation. The President did not mention any names but said it happened in Parañaque and that the said actor is the child of another actor. Duterte said that while the matter is trivial in ordinary times, vaccine donations come with conditions that call for the prioritization of health workers.
