- Agot Isidro has posed a question on Twitter and challenged everyone to ponder on it before giving a response
- The singer-actress said that people should know who needs to shoulder the blame for the death of a person at Angel Locsin’s community pantry
- Angel set up a community pantry to celebrate 36th birthday
- Unfortunately, the long line of the pantry proved unbearable to one elderly person, causing his eventual death
Agot Isidro slammed what she suggested as an attempt to blame fellow actress Angel Locsin for the death of an elderly man at the community pantry she established on her birthday on Friday, April 23.
According to reports, thousands flocked to the community pantry set up by Angel, with lines extending for hundreds of meters.
The heat and exhaustion perhaps proved unbearable to an elderly man, causing him to faint and fall to the ground.
He was brought to the hospital where he was declared “Dead On Arrival.”
The singer-actress said that responding to a cry for help, such as what Angel did, to aid the immediate need of fellow Filipinos, is very admirable.
She compared this with what she called as a “tepid” response of this government to the same plea for help.
Agot branded the government’s response to such pleas as a failure.
She then asked everyone who to blame for the tragic death.
“So sino ang kakastiguhin ninyo ngayon for the tragic death? Si Angel o ang gobyerno?” Agot asked.
The singer-actress is a known critic of the government. She has cross-swords with several top government officials, including President Rodrigo Duterte, in the past.

The giant telecommunications firm has also signed deals with other big names in the entertainment industry in the past.
The actress also took to Twitter to express her disappointment over GMA's airing of the show “Do30” and “OnReport.” Although she did not elaborate on why she was disappointed, as it turned out the show, according to the official website of Davao City was a program initiated by Mayor Sara Duterte. GMA said that it will start airing Byaheng Do30 starting in February. In three words, the singer-actress was able to say and express what she truly felt.
