Agot Isidro vented her ire on social media about the recent move of Smart Communications to get Chris Evans as its endorser.

The actress, who is known for her anti-administration stance, is also asking the giant telecommunications company whether getting endorsers like Evans helps increase their subscribers.

“Hindi ko na naiintindihan, Smart. Nakakarami ba talaga ng subscribers ang mga endorsers na yan?” she asked.

Smart made waves recently when it announced it is getting the foreign celebrity to endorse its products and services.

Chris Evans is among the most popular actors in the United States, with a string of movies to his name.

He is best known, however, for his portrayal as Steve Rogers and Captain America in the movie with the same title and in the “Avengers” franchise. His last appearance in the franchise was in “Avengers: Endgame.”

His immense popularity, plus his role in Captain America and Avengers as someone who wants a better world, is perhaps among the reasons why Smart decided to make Evans the face of its “Live Smarter for a Better World.

It is not entirely clear why Agot is training her guns on Smart. Some netizens assume that it could be because the giant communications firm is getting foreigners to endorse its brand.

Smart has also signed deals with a couple of international big names, including popular South Korean boy group BTS, as well as Korean actors Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin. The giant telco has also signed local talents like Filipino band, Ben&Ben.

Recently, Agot Isidro took to Twitter and expressed her disappointment over GMA's airing of the show "Do30" and "OnReport." Although the actress did not elaborate on why she was disappointed, as it turned out the show, according to the official website of Davao City was a program initiated by Mayor Sara Duterte. GMA said that it will start airing Byaheng Do30 starting in February.

Last year, the actress also got into a verbal tussle with the defenders of Jinkee Pacquiao, particularly with Arnold Vegafria, the business manager of the Pacquiao family. Arnold wrote an open letter to Agot, telling her that the Pacquiao's remained humble and down to earth, helping people and that the actress must be cautious in using the word "nouveau." The 53-year-old actress tweeted that she does not care where the money is being spent and she's sure they have helped many and highlighted the difference between sensitivity and accountability .
