- He said that she does not need to ask for forgiveness at all

- He added that one man was simply so starved and weak and she was not able to feed him in time

- The DFA Secretary also said that the blame must fall on those who do not do what she's trying to do, which is feeding the hungry and not their egos

The DFA Secretary Teddy Locsin, Jr., aired his sentiments and defended actress Angel Locsin from those who were bashing her for what transpired at the Brgy. Holy Spirit community pantry.

"No forgiveness needed; at least she tried to feed them; one was so starved and weak she couldn’t feed him in time. Blame those who don’t do what she and others like her—like my friends from the very start of the pandemic—are trying to do: feed the hungry and not their egos," said Locsin.

It can be recalled that Angel Locsin asked sorry for the chaos that transpired at the community pantry that she organized.

One individual, a senior, fainted while lining up. Although he was brought to the hospital, he was declared dead on arrival.

The actress has repeatedly asked for an apology for what happened and said that she will no longer organize another community pantry.
