Raffy Tulfo was able to extract important information from a drug addict who was the subject of a complaint on the TV program Raffy Tulfo In Action.
Relatives of Brandy de Castro, the confessed drug addict, reported him to the staff of the TV program for hitting his helpless grandmother several times. The incident was captured on video.
As always, Raffy interviewed the complainant first, a certain “Nene” who was the great-grandchild of Anastasha Malabanan, the elderly hit by de Castro.
Despite the cruelty she received, Malabanan insisted that de Castro was actually a good man.
When it was his turn to talk, de Castro spilled out information that he is indeed a drug addict and that some of his workmates were addicts too.
He then proceeded to tell Raffy that the security guard of the company he works for supplies him the drugs.
When asked where the security guard gets the drugs, de Castro said it was from a prisoner whom he claimed he did not know.
As soon as Raffy got all information, he immediately sought the help of authorities in arresting de Castro, who told the popular host that he be allowed one week to relax first before surrendering to authorities.
Raffy asked him why the need for a one week relaxation, and he answered he wants to prepare himself for jail.

Raffy has a soft spot for the elderly, which is why he quickly helps them when they asked for it. There are cases, however, when Raffy’s help did not reach them in time. Such was the case of 62 years old Corazon Vinuya, who died before she could receive the help that Raffy sent her. Nevertheless, her relatives told the staff of Raffy that “Lola Corazon” died happy as she was able to talk to the popular host on live television and she heard him promising to send help, which Raffy did, only that it was too late.
In another case involving an elderly, siblings Jenie Borlado and Jimmy Bantayan reported to Raffy that their mother, who was being cared for by their younger sister, died without them knowing. They thought their mother was still alive and were shocked upon being told that her ashes are now in an urn. This particular case is currently being investigated by authorities with the help of the Raffy Tulfo In Action team.
