A police officer in La Trinidad, Benguet, saw a blind couple trying to cross the road, and he decided to help them on his own.

A netizen saw the heartwarming kind act and was able to capture it in photos.

According to the uploader of the photos, Tin Dao-anis, the two blind persons were a couple and were leaving their boarding house on their way to work.

They work as masseurs in the province, according to a report in Philippine Star.

Tin told the publication that her heart was touched by the act.

"Naantig po ako sa pagtulong ng pulis sa mag-asawang bulag, lalo na't daming sasakyan ang dumaraan sa one-way na kalsada na iyon," said Tin.
