The chef and entrepreneur tweeted, "Nalilito ako. May curfew sa gabi para daw makaiwas sa COVID-19 pero sa umaga ang daming tao na labas. Ano ba ang virus? Nightshift?"

The tweet elicited a mixed response from netizens. Some netizens agreed with Marvin while others explained that the curfew was needed to curb the rise in cases.

I think to minimize lang the risk. Minimize the possible exposure. Since kapag-gabi it is better to stay at home if wala namang work. Isa pa, usually yung mga lumalabas kapag-gabi, hangout/night out lang naman reason (except for those who work).
To lessen the needed frontliners na magbabantay at night, makapagpahinga naman sila. And avoid NON-essential activities like partying, get-togethers after hours.
