Dianne Medina shared how she focuses on getting back to fitness, six months after she gave birth, and hopes to inspire other mothers that it is not impossible.

In an interview with PUSH, the TV host-actress talked about her ‘balik-alindog’ goals and the adjustments she goes through being a working mom.

Dianne revealed how she is pursuing her fitness goals by focusing on a healthier lifestyle. For her, this is necessary so she can take care of her family. She hopes to serve as an inspiration to other moms.

“I’m in a low-fat diet, so I make sure na I want to be healthy also not just for myself but also for my family so I could take care well of my baby Joaquin and my husband and this is what we are promoting.
“I want to show na siyempre ‘yung mga mommies diyan na nothing is impossible,” she said.

Since she is a first-time mother, Dianne admitted that the process of taking care of herself has not been easy. She even shared about struggling with postpartum depression, which is common among women after giving birth.

For this reason, Dianne is more eager to advocate for a healthy lifestyle for mommies.

“Kasi ‘yung iba siyempre we go through postpartum. And what I like about that is we can also promote self-worth and self-care through healthy lifestyle.

“So ‘yun naman ‘yung gusto natin na maka inspire din ng mga mommies na kung nagagawa natin na mas maging maayos ang mga pangangatawan natin,” she added.

The TV host also shared how she was able to overcome anxiety attacks and depression.

“To be honest, yes. Nagkaroon ako ng several anxiety attacks, postpartum depression, but you know with the support system of my family, most specially my husband is very loving and supportive. I was able to overcome everything,” she revealed.

Realizing his son is all worth it also helped her to be stronger.

“Pag-tinitignan mo ‘yung anak mo, worth every pain, worth everything talaga. Iba ang pakiramdam kapag nakikita ko si Joaquin.”
