Baron Geisler revealed that he suffered from ‘a little bit of mental illness’ and shared about how family life has helped him overcome it.

On Monday, February 22, Baron answered questions about himself during the digital media conference of “Tililing”.
The actor was asked about the changes in his life after he and his wife Jamie Evangelista had their baby. Baron expressed that having a child is a ‘great and wonderful experience’ for him.
"To have your own child is such a great and wonderful experience. It’s such a blessing. She’s my pride and joy.”

The controversial actor also talked about how having her daughter, Talitha Cumi, is helping him recover from mental illness and alcoholism.
"Somehow, natulungan niya rin ako na mawala yung pagka…I don’t wanna use this term, but I have to, yung pagkatililing ko.
"I won’t hide it. I have a little bit of mental illness. I’m kinda crazy also, and I’m also recovering alcoholic.”
Baron also said that there is always room for improvement for those who want it.
"For me, there’s room to become a better you and to improve yourself and there’s always room for improvement as long as you want it and I really want this.”

The actor is now enjoying his family life in Cebu. He only visits Metro Manila whenever he has important commitments.
"I want a family life, the whole package—wife, home, kids. I’m embracing it here right now in Cebu.
"I love everything about Cebu. The culture is great here.
Baron also mentioned that he has also encountered God in Cebu.
"Dito ako nag-transform to a better human being, and I met my wife here also and I also met God here you know.
"I discovered how great God is so that’s why my heart is here in Cebu."
