Janine Gutierrez received a warm welcome as she made her debut on “ASAP Natin To”, and the actress thought of the experience as ‘surreal’.

On January 24, Sunday, Janine appeared in her first Kapamilya show, the Sunday noontime show, “ASAP Natin To”. She sang “Panaginip” with Ogie Alcasid, Gary Valenciano, and Martin Nievera.

After the performance, she took the opportunity to thank the show’s production team for having her.

“I am so happy to be here with all of you. Thank you so much for the warm Kapamilya welcome.

“I am so grateful and honored na kayo pa ang kasama ko dito sa first time ko sa ASAP stage. Thank you so much,”

Janine also described her experience being in a Kapamilya studio:

“This is the first time I’ve been inside a studio here. Surreal, parang panaginip talaga.

“I am just so happy that everything has fallen into place. It’s a new year, new opportunities,”

It was revealed that the former Kapuso actress is officially joining the “ASAP” team. Meaning, she will be working with her brother, Diego Gutierrez, who is also part of the show.

The 31-year-old celebrity also received some prerecorded messages from her family prior to her performance.

Aside from her parents, Lotlot de Leon and Ramon Christopher Gutierrez, two other special people in her life sent their messages.

One was her grandmother Pilita Corrales.

“Congratulations Janine. I know that you will be very happy in your new home and I hope all the projects that you will do, you will do just as well as when you won best actress for a movie. I am so proud of you,” she said.

Her grandfather, Christopher de Leon, also encouraged her.

“Just remember to thank God for the talent He has given you. Work hard with humility. Basta enjoy, have fun but take care always. We love you,”
