Janine Gutierrez has already signed the contract with the ABS-CBN and Dreamscape executives, finally confirming the rumor about her network transfer.
On Friday, January 15, Janine did the contract signing with the Kapamilya Network. Those who were present in the event included the actress’s manager, Leo Dominguez, ABS-CBN chairman Mark Lopez, CEO and president Carlo Katigbak, CFO Ric Tan, COO of broadcast Cory Vidanes, and Dreamscape Entertainment head Deo Endrinal.
Early in January, Janine was seen attending a dinner meeting with the network and Dreamscape executives. Her manager and Paulo Avelino, who is also under Leo Dominguez’s management, were also present at the event. The said meeting was the first sign that Janine was already in the process of being a Kapamilya.
As of now, there are no updates regarding the actress’ upcoming Kapamilya projects yet.
Janine Gutierrez is a Filipina actress and showbiz royalty. Her parents are celebrities Ramon Christopher Gutierrez and Lotlot de Leon. The Superstar Nora Aunor is her maternal grandmother since she is Lotlot’s adoptive mother. Then, veteran singer Pilitar Corrales is her paternal grandmother.
Janine was with GMA-7 for eight years. She was one of the Kapuso network’s acclaimed stars. In fact, in 2020 she received awards for her role in the 2019 film “Babae at Baril”.
The actress’s network transfer issue happened before 2020 ended. Janine even posted a cryptic message which the netizens understood to be about that decision. However, she did not confirm nor deny it.
There were rumors that the actress would be joining the Kapamilya network because GMA-7 did not renew her contract.
