Manila Diamond Studio calls out Radiant Lux for injurious accusations concerning Jessy's engagement ring
- Manila Diamond Studio released its official statement addressing the accusations hurled by Radiant Lux Jewelry
- It said that it has been in the industry for years and has dedicated its artistry and commitment to clients
- It also stated that the engagement ring of well-known actress Jessy Mendiola was a product of the company's craftsmanship and Jessy's heart and inspiration
- It noted that the setting, the make, and design were all by Manila Diamond Studio albeit the centerpiece diamond was commissioned and purchased by Luis Manzano

Manila Diamond Studio issued a statement in light of the claims made by Radiant Lux Jewelry.
According to Manila Diamond Studio, the engagement ring of Jessy Mendiola was a product of their craftsmanship and the heart and inspiration of the actress.

The third paragraph of the official statement it released on Dec. 16 called out Radiant Lux Jewelry for its injurious accusations.
A part of its statement read:
"Manila Diamond Studio, therefore, takes exception to the defamatory statements posted by Radiant Lux Jewelry on its social media platforms. With the strongest of words, Manila Diamond Studio denies the accusation of credit-grabbing and unethical practice. The injurious accusation fo Radiant Lux jewelry is simply without basis, in fact, and in law. It is an affront to the name and brand of Manila Diamond Studio and has caused damage to its long-standing business and goodwill. It is more unfortunate that the false statements issued by Radiant Lux Jewelry and the resulting controversy ruined one of the most memorable and meaningful milestones in Mr. Manzano and Ms. Mendiola's lives."

The issue between Jessy Mendiola and the two local jewelry makers started when Radiant Lux called out Jessy for not giving credit to them in her posts about the engagement ring. This elicited an answer from the actress who made a vlog explaining her side of the story. She said that a friend would not do something the way their "friend did," referring to how she was showed the ring before the proposal.
