Jay Sonza, who was scheduled to explain his side on the case filed by Julia Barretto, has failed to show up before the National Bureau of Investigation Cybercrime Division.

To recall, ABS-CBN reporter MJ Felipe tweeted that Julia personally went to the NBI in late September to file a cyber libel complaint against the broadcaster.
According to Manila Bulletin, Jay claimed in a Facebook post that Julia and Gerald Anderson spent the lockdown together and are now expecting a baby.

Just recently, ABS-CBN News shared tweets that read, “Broadcaster Jay Sonza fails to appear before the NBI Cybercrime Division. He was sent a subpoena, and was scheduled to explain his side on Julia Baretto’s cyber libel complaint, last Friday 3pm.”
“Sonza has not sent a representative nor any document to explain his absence, or his position on the complaint. The NBI will still proceed in its investigation. Sonza can still present his side once the NBI recommends the filing of a case in the prosecutor’s office.”
