Ruffa Gutierrez has reportedly refused to have a kissing scene with Bobby Andrews in their new project on TV5.
In a report by Abante, the kissing scene was actually not included in the script that’s why Ruffa was shocked when they were told that there will be a kissing scene as they film the new Kapatid series entitled “Stay-In Love”.

Based on TV5's social media posts, the said program will also star Maris Racal and Kokoy de Santos from the phenomenal online BL series “Gameboys”. It was produced by Conerstone Entertainment Inc.

Ruffa Gutierrez is a Filipina actress and beauty queen. She is the only daughter of Eddie Gutierrez and Annabelle Rama. She has two daughters with her former husband Yilmaz Bektas – Lorin and Venice Gutierrez. Ruffa and Yilmaz’s legal separation happened in 2012.
This is not the first time that an actress had an issue with kissing scenes amid the pandemic.
In an interview with Kapuso Showbiz News a few months ago, Rhian Ramos said she has plans to avoid kissing scenes in the meantime for safety measures. The actress, however, added that if a kissing scene is unavoidable, she would require her co-actor to provide a test result.
Just recently, Rhian and Jennylyn Mercado made rounds on social media after their kissing scene in a mini-series was aired on GMA. In a scene in “I Can See You: Truly. Madly. Deadly”, Rhian’s character Abby kissed and confessed her love to Jennylyn’s character named Coleen. A lot of the show’s viewers who were surprised by the scene then expressed their different reactions online.
