- Now, the newest addition to the list is Sarah Geronimo, as a post purporting her network transfer to GMA circulated

- Obviously, there was no truth to it and it was confirmed fake news as there is no official announcement from Viva Artists Agency, the agency handling the career of the Pop Princess

Social media has been filled with fake news and more often than not, those who get victimized are the popular ones like celebrities.

Previously, Ogie Alcasid was a victim of a death hoax, and now, it would seem that whoever propagates such news turned their eyes on the Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo.

There was a post that circulated on social media showing a picture of Sarah Geronimo, with a caption that says there will be a big announcement along with the logo of GMA-TV.

There's even a log of the Viva Artists Agency, which handles the career of Sarah G.

Obviously, it was fake news. The only reliable source with regards to Sarah's showbiz career would be an official announcement from Viva Artist's Agency.
